Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Faith with Friends mobile app on iOS and Android (the "App"), provided by Toast – Apps & Software, LLC ("Toast Mobile," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and old enough to form a binding agreement with us in your country of residence. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

Faith with Friends requires an account, which you create by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Please keep your account information accurate, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Use of the App

Faith with Friends is a space for sharing faith with people you know. You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, abusive, or that infringes the rights of others;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• send spam, solicitations, or unsolicited promotional content;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt or compromise the security or integrity of the App;
• scrape, copy, or harvest data from the App, or reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App, such as prayer requests, verses, notes, reactions, and encouragements ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display it for the purpose of operating the App and delivering it to the friends you connect with. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. No Purchases or Subscriptions

The App is provided free of charge. Faith with Friends does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, and we do not collect payment information. If this ever changes, we will update these Terms and the App stores accordingly before any charges apply.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Toast Mobile and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission. Aside from Your Content, all rights in the App are reserved.

7. Third-Party Services and App Stores

The App relies on third-party services, including Apple and Google (for sign-in and app distribution) and Google Firebase (for accounts, data storage, messaging, and analytics). Your use of the App through the Apple App Store or Google Play is also subject to those stores' terms. These third parties are not responsible for the App and are not parties to these Terms, though Apple and Google may enforce these Terms as third-party beneficiaries to the extent they relate to your use of their platforms.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we are not responsible for content shared by other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toast Mobile will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because the App is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App's Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update or modify the App, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
